Project Idea

‘To Auditorium’ is the area between the foyer and auditorium and a threshold to many other spaces. This area lacked definition and the experience of transition from one space to another.

The proposition of the installation was the enhance this experience with elements that define, mark, direct and make associations with the threshold space, its users and the idea of a landscape. The proposed elements have grown from the space relating to its geometry, volume, scale, materiality and are used to create a transitory landscape that appears to belong.
